How do you get rust off a cast iron stove?

i also need to know how to drill it, can anyone give me some advise ?

There are a couple of good answers so I won’t try to add to them.
I still have my cast iron wood burning stove and use it occassionally. We would clean it sometimes with a wire brush or paint scraper and re-black it with lard. It smoked a little at first, but soon burned away.
I’m curious to know what you mean by “drill it”. Would you mind telling me. Thanks.
